!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
It’s intriguing, although I have little idea what this warning means, and of course it’s an auto, meh.
it does drive like a lifted XJ on 35's

It means “death wobble”...at least that’s how I interpret it

I’d guess “Slow, ponderous, and occasionally alarming”

I can dea l with slow a nd ponderous, that’s what I have today.

Sidenote I’ll be driving through that area in about a month, but this will be long gone by then.

I have questions. Mainly, why are the rears a different generation of the BFGoodrich TA’s?
![]() 06/24/2020 at 12:21 |

Agreed. What brings you through that area?

Not something I ever would have noticed.

Work work. They’re letting us drive if we’re close to the location, so I’m driving a rental to the first location, flying to the second, and then driving another rental home haha. While both locations were close to my house, we had 1 day to traverse the 1700 miles between them so... flying. Even with all the 1-way rentals the price was still comparable to flying, which is insane.

I’m confused. You’ve got some wicked geography going on there.
Both locations are close to your house, but they’re 1700 miles apart?!

Well... by “close” I mean driving distance. And by “driving distance” I mean under 1400*
miles. One of the benefits of living in the middle of the country is I’m 1400 miles from most things haha. So yeah the first place is west of hear and the second east... so while quite far from each other they’re both drivable from Oklahoma.
*700 miles is my absolute max drive per day. I know other people are game for more but I won’t plan a day longer than that. I prefer something closer to 500 or 600, ideally.

I believe mazda616 is.
I did co-o p rotations in a small town 30 mins west of Evansville, if it had been from there I’d say run no matter what lol

Mount Vernon, by any chance? I spent a few days in that area 15 years ago, exploring the local parks: Twin Swamps, Hovey Lake, Harmonie State Park.

Okies are funny that way. It’s the only place I’ve lived where all distances are measured in time. My grandma’s house was an hour away. My grandpa’s place in Texas was 9.5 hours away. The grocery store was 45 minutes away....

Lol yes it was mount Vernon actually. I don’t remember twin swamps but I’ve been to the others, Fishing at hovey and hiking in Harmonie. I was an engineering coop at SABIC (probably GE plastics when you were around there)

Twin Swamps is a small but interesting nature preserve. It’s the northern-most patch of some mangrove tree in the country, don’t remember which one off-hand. A bit of the tropics in Indiana.
Hovey Lake was such a beautiful place. I was there two days in a row, and both days a crow started a distinctive call at sunrise. I recorded it and later figured out it was a fish crow.

I’m in Owensboro!

That’s a bit of a drive for something I’m not all that serious about anyway. Probably.
I’ll be camping in southern Indiana next week, still about 2 hours from there, but I’ll ruminate on hopping down there.
